Credits transfer
If anyone has already fallen prey to the scams I mentioned in my earlier post and raked up huge credit card debts, I know of a company which can help you get out of the mud without getting into bankruptcy.
If you pay minimum payment for your credit cards outstanding balance every month, it will take you a long time to clear it, if you ever will, that is. Do you realize that 50% of your minimum payment goes to the interest, processing charges and late charges. And also if you are late for more than 2 months and "appealed" to the banks, they will gladly let you settle only 1 month. Why? They can charge you for the amount of the other minimum payment as new charges, that is why. Many people didn't realize this, they only wonder why their outstanding balance does not seem to reduce even though after paying for so many months.
The company mentioned above will convert your outstanding amount into a hire purchase payment, then you only pay them by installments over a period of 3-4 years. The interests charged will be only half of what the banks charge you before, and it is fixed, unlike the banks which will add this and that charges. But you must approach this company before your credit card is suspended by the bank, otherwise they also cannot help you.Another condition is they only operate in Peninsular Malaysia.
If interested call my hand phone at 016-8333603.

Avoid these traps
Malaysians who start to venture into Internet marketing are advised to be aware of the many traps laying ahead of you.
Take it slow, don't rush. Look before you leap. I know everybody is eager to make lots and lots of money online, as advertised by Internet marketers before you.
Here are some very real dangers of conducting business on the Internet, discovered by me through painful experience.
(1)Set a limit on the amount which you can afford and are prepared to invest in your Internet business. This is ultra important, if you don't do this you will be sucked into the black hole of Internet marketing. Most Internet marketers will first lure you in by giving you some useful small tips, advice or tools which a beginner will find useful. Once the trust is established they will start to sell you more and more expensive stuff. They first present you with a system or plan or blue print, whatever, then they will smartly embed their products in the system or blue print. Once you join the course, you will be offered tools and software along the way in order to make the blue print a success. If you don't purchase, then you failed because you don't follow instructions, not the fault of the blue print or the mentor.
On the other hand,if you follow every word they said, then you will wonder when will all these end, and when will you begin to see money rolling in as promised? Well, the answer is very simple, it will end when your credit cards are maxed out and when you have use every single cent in your saving. But the money will not start rolling in.
(2)Do not accept free trials. These offers will be purposely made into CDs or DVDs so that you have to pay for shipping charges in order for the products to be shipped to you, you will have to provide you credit card details for this purpose. The shipping cost is normally set very low and most people will not think twice before paying. But don't be so happy first, the condition of the free trial is that you have to return the products within 14 days. After 14 days no refund will be entertained, and your credit card will be charged with the full amount. Most people will not be able to examine the product before 14 days date line, especially for oversea buyers, the delivery will normally take longer than that. That is not all, there is a clause in very fine print at the bottom, which says you will receive similar CDs/DVDs every month and your credit card will be charged recurring. Of course, you can cancel, but how long does it take? Your emails to terminate will not reach the marketers for some strange reason.
Some time you can flush them out by going to as many forums as possible to expose them, then they will reluctantly contact you. But you have already raked up a huge bill by then. One more strange thing is the banks which issued the credit cards refused to stop payment to subscriptions or recurring payment. Why? The only resort is to cut the card and throw it back at them, and they will muse." this is the correct way to handle it!"
(3) Another twist to the above method is the marketers will ask you to pay just $1, that's right, one US dollar. But to pay even $1, you still have to give the full details of your credit card. If you are lured by the offer and pay the one dollar, you will be going through the same ordeal as mentioned above.
There are many more traps on the Internet marketing arena, but I will leave it the next post.

Constraints and limitations faced by Malaysian IM (2)
An aspiring Internet marketer very often neglects the importance of including the shipping charges in his calculation for the prices of products.
It is not surprising because when they first started they are always brain-washed by the Internet marketing gurus to sell downloadable information products which do not involve shipping.
Then there is another group of gurus who will encourage you to use drop shippers. Drop shippers are whole salers who will deliver the products to your customers directly from their storage space when you place the orders with them. In an ideal environment, working with a drop shipper will save you big sum of money. You don't need to have a store,no need to worry about packing and shipping.
But this ideal situation is difficult to find because reputable drop shippers will be reluctant to work with a stranger like you. Similarly you are reluctant to work with new drop shippers or those who do not have good reputations.Of course, there are some lucky Internet marketers doing successful business with reputable drop shippers. However, many new comers are cheated off their money and went out of business before they meet any good drop shippers.
Therefore drop shipping is not a very good option when starting your business online.
The alternative is to ship your goods yourself. First you must learn the proper way to pack your goods with the right type of protective materials, seal the package securely and label it clearly. Otherwise your forwarder will refuse your consignment because any damage or lost caused by sloppy packing may be blamed on them.
Then you have to look for a reliable forwarder or courier service company.
For large and heavy items you should send through forwarders by sea, while smaller and light items can be sent by courier service.
All courier service companies impose a minimum charge which is in the region of RM100. If the value of your product is very high, the minimum shipping charge will not pose a problem. Whereas for light and low value items, this minimum charge may make the buyer to change his/her mind. This is very common, it all boils down to human nature.
In the beginning I thought our national courier service,POS LAJU, may not be so expensive. But I was disappointed, they do not strive to compete with private companies to provide good service, instead they strive to follow them in charging high fees.
Unless the shipping charges is lowered, we Malaysians will be at a big disadvantage in running our online businesses.

Constraints and limitations faced by Malaysian IM (1)
As my target audience are Malaysians, let's talk more on the Internet Marketing (IM) scene in Malaysia.
The blood line for Malaysia IM is the TMnet which is owned by the Telekom department, which in turns is manned by government servants. Due to the "tidak apa" attitude of the workers, the reliability of the IM infrastructure is questionable. Nobody will deny this.
Frequent disconnetcions, occasional complete breakdowns and sporadic line speeds are the most common complaints of TMnet. It seems the staff are happy if they manage to keep the breakdown rate low,the line speed and line dropping out is not big concern. But these problems affect the online business very seriously.
When the speed is low (lags) the web pages will take too long to load, and visitors will just click and move on to some other sites, there we lost potential customers. Isn't it frustrating after spending money to hire somebody to streamline your web pages in order for them to load quickly and SEO works to drive traffics to your sites, now just because the line is lagging, you lost your customers!
When a visitors click on your site's url which is among the search engine results,a error 404 (page cannot be found) message is displayed because TMnet was down. What would the surfer think, he may think that your site has been shut down due to some reasons! You lost business again. It is very similar to the real life situation when you go to your favourite shop and you find their gates are down, you may think that they are off today, they have moved or they have wound up.

Malaysia Internet Marketing Coach
To most Malaysians,Internet marketing means selling products over the Internet. It is not wrong, in fact it was what prompted me to venture into Internet sales back in the early 90s.
The phrase Internet marketing was not coined then, it was broadly termed Internet business. PayPal was not born yet, and credit card frauds are rampant then, and the only means of online payment method was through Escrow. Is it in existence now?
Later people discovered that it is much easier to sell information products over the net, these products are digital files compiled neatly and centred around a specific topic or subject, and were given a nice name - eBooks. No shipping is involved, when the seller receives the payment, then he will give you a link to download the eBook, simple as that.
These people call themselves "Internet marketers". What do they market? You guess it,they sell tips, secrets, tools, software to enable you to also sell information products over the Internet. If you ask them how to set up a website to sell physical products like jewelry, cosmetics, clothes, shoes, health food, etc, they will simple ignore you and don't even answer you. They will say this is not Internet marketing, it is an eStore, or they will recommend you to try eBay Auctions site.
It is also sometimes called work-at-home business, because you can carry out all your business at home as long as you have a computer and Internet connection.
But Internet marketers have to go out of their home frequently, because their main incomes are from holding "launches" and seminars.
By and large, Malaysians are still very interested in selling physical products over the Internet, so I will blog more often on this area.
